It's not worth arguing about any more. Those that want Bailey will never see it.

I personally don't believe that Mendoza would look the same way if he came to Miami. The system/structure that Cignetti has fits him to a tee.
We saw him at Cal. No one watched that and thought he'd be the Heisman winner this year.

As you and many others have pointed out, staff passed multiple times. There is a reason.

If it isn't Bailey, they better have someone lined up that can lead this team. If it is any QB on our roster, we are in big trouble.

Soooo...today is the last day to enter the portal BUT schools have 2 business days to enter names AND Monday is a holiday. That means we may not hear the last portal entries until Wednesday, which is also the last day to register for classes at UM.

• Initial Commitment: Mendoza originally committed to play college football at Yale in August 2021.
• Division I Interest: He had only one Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) offer out of high school from the University of California. Other offers included FIU and Lehigh.
• Lack of Hype: Despite trying to showcase his skills at numerous camps and sending film to Power 5 schools, he was largely overlooked, with some coaches citing a lack of physical development.
• Decision: He de-committed from Yale in January 2022 after visiting Cal; committed to the Golden Bears the next day on National Signing Day.

My personal opinion is that Bailey has told them no without telling them no.

He has reasons to feel disrespected by the coaching staff and the university because he was passed over multiple times.

There is no reason for him to be coming here given the circumstances.

yeah I don't blame him either. maybe they already have this wrapped up, whatever. if we end up with the 3 we have on the roster and struggle, and CJ does well next year AGAIN. the staff is going to look like morons.

I like that no insiders are getting any info, the loafers like to work in silence. We can only hope at this point in time.
