Agree. Just saying Lucas is the only case so far, and we argued it was because Wiscy wasn't following the portal rules by refusing to enter him in the portal correctly. I think if it was that accepted, oil money in TX would have abused the crap out of it already. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong....I just would be personally surprised if we went this route this year. I would love to be wrong if it gets to this point though. I think we get a qb to enter late personally.

If we don’t land someone by next week (which for the record I think we will land someone), Alberto Mendoza is going to be looking pretty appealing. He at least has 2 years of practicing in Cig’s program. Has looked pretty good in the limited time he’s played.

Yeah it's not going to happen in spring, barring some coach being fired/leaving a program or a player being dismissed. Tomorrow is the deadline.

It seems like it would have been done if they didn’t go after a few QBs before reaching out.

They are already salty (rightfully so) about not getting recruited outta HS until they got desperate for JJ and now yall wanna come hit us up in the last hour after all your options dried up.

Seems like he’s going to make Miami really pay up.. if they really want him.
