That’s not accurate. Anyone can transfer schools, existing NIL agreements aside.

Not having another portal window makes this tougher this time. By this weekend, we will know who our options are left to pick over.

The Lucas precedent means there effectively is no portal. You can just withdraw and enroll at another school. Not a thing the NCAA can do about it.

The injunction in Tennessee vs. NCAA (2024) effectively kneecapped NCAA enforcement of tampering, unless you are really, really not slick about it.

If we need to get a starting QB after this portal window closes, I don't think we will be limited to grad transfers.

Maybe. I'm not so sure Miami wants to do it on back to back years and become a bulls eye in the future. Our big argument was that Wiscy wasn't following the portal guideline. Don't think any other schools have done this method yet. But I get what you are saying.
