One interesting thing about Bailey, on the NCST boards there’s not a word or any smoke about him potentially transferring. Would be insane for him to turn down an overpay to go back to at best 7-5 NCST.

Probably because he announced he was returning. They relaxed after that came out.

How do we say they were wrong on Mendoza without a completion of the game Monday. If Beck wins the staff was right in there decision.

Just because Mendoza had the better season and will get drafted higher doesn’t cement him in CFB Hal of fame? Beck has the opportunity to make a CFB hall of fame one day if he wins this Monday based on his record and resume.

Beck would end his career as the better college quarterback and have brought UM its 6th nationally title. I would say Mario would say he made the right decision 10 times over.

Beck wasn’t an option when they turned down Mendoza. It was an independent decision.

I love Beck and there’s nobody else I’d want at quarterback for this team. But we got the eval so wrong on Mendoza that I’m not blindly trusting the eval of Bailey. They have many things in common, most notably a steep upward trajectory since their junior years of high school.

It's just embarrassing at this point, something has got to be going on that we don't know about because none of this makes sense. We're in the national championship and our 2024 portal QB went 1st overall and was a Heisman finalist. We shouldn't need to be begging QBs to take our huge sum of cash to come here.
