D'Eriq King is the best comp. With our OL/RB/WR we would likely have an offense that looks like something in between 2024 and 2025, ie top 15, but not top 5. And we would all be cool with that.

Among P4 starting QBs returning/ with eligibility remaining for next season he has The

- 5th best Passing grade under pressure (behind Mendoza, Sorsby, Sayin, Stockton. Just ahead of Demond Williams, JKS, Arch, and Jevin Jennings)…. So that’s GREAT company. … with 6th best AdjComp% under pressure…4.8% BTT% to 3.4% TWP% in those situations

- 8th best Passing Grade when kept clean. 5.9% BTT% to 1.1% TWP%

- 8th best Passing Grade against the Blitz with a 4.9% BTT% to 0.9% TWP% which actually ranks 1st directly ahead of Sayin, Sorsby, Stockton, Maiava there.

- 9th best passing grade when not blitzed…

- on throws that take >2.5s, he is 1st in BTTs. This is where Cam was exceptional. Fifita is directly ahead of JKS, Sayin, Maiava, and Dante Moore in this metric. 8.5% BTT% to 2.6% TWP%.

He isn’t elite in most any of these metrics. But he makes big throws, is mobile, is pretty accurate, a good decision maker… versus Beck he will absolutely generate more explosive plays. I’d worry about him throwing over the middle a bit more due to his height. But he’d be great here imo.

No thanks on Fifita. I'd rather play Russian roulette and hope for a miracle graduate transfer or a head coaching firing that opens up a window for a starting QB to enter the portal later on as an exception.
