The poster I was replying to was suggesting to not go all in on Simpson and to have two contingency plans.

My point is, we will have clarity on Simpson before we can bring any contingency plan(s) in since the dead period opens after Simpson’s decision.

The issue with simpson is that even if he enters the portal, you would still be competing with Tennessee (who is desperate for a QB) and Simpson is from that state.

I’ve been looking for the 72-hour window rule and all I’ve found is the 1/14 deadline to remove the name
