Throwing $$$ around could reset the market for every position-group & destroy the culture of your team. Those $16Ms could be gone just keeping your roster together if you're not careful.

Miami offered their top QB & he's taking visits. FWIW I think Miami could win with their second and third choice.

I think we can win with a number of these guys as well - Simpson, Sorsby, Raiola, Hoover, Leavitt… Bailey too though I prefer others this year.

There’s a cap on revenue sharing so it’s not obvious to me how much of that 16mil will be used in that way. Cause we were probably going to be at the cap anyway.

It shows just how much attention and effort Lane Kiffin is putting into landing Sorsby. Miami has also been tied to the Cincinnati transfer. Sources told On3’s Steve Wiltfong and I that a decision from Sorsby could come within the next 24 to 48 hours.

The decision to leave Texas Tech without committing puts the Red Raiders in a precarious position. And they are looking into other names, because as one source told On3, Texas Tech “needs a guy.”

Pretty much LSU for Sorsby and they are the favorites. He did say Miami had interest in him. Also said Tech won't wait on Sorsby and will take Leavitt if Leavitt gives the green light. So I would imagine it's not going to be Sorsby. It's probably going to be some random QB for us. So in like 3 or 4 weeks we will wake up get on Twitter and see something like Ty Simpson enters the portal with Miami as the heavy favorite or something similar.

From everything I read, Sorsby will likely be a Tiger. Crystal ball, he’s started following other recruits that are on campus there with him. Somebody posted something a little while ago that Simpson possibly to the portal with Tennessee and Oregon as the to possible landing spots
