2026 Portal QBs

Some good options out there. We just need Mario and Co to make a decision and GO! Can’t wait around all winter for our QB. It has too big an impact on other positions. Sorsby, Raiola, Leavitt, Bailey is my order but can ride with any of them. Would take Lagway if he wants to sit a year like Moore (he won’t) and get well. Just get someone locked in as quickly as possible

Agreed. Make your 1st offer your best offer. And offer it to at least your top 3 & take the 1st one in.

These guys are all relatively the same to me

Raiola has best arm talent and ceiling as a passer, but weirdo with limited mobility

Sorsby best dual threat that can throw and run, but lacks accuracy and got smoked a few games

Leavitt is a winner and has dual threat, but injury history and least accurate

Bailey has upside of 2 years of eligibility and has accuracy and a hint of mobility, but really struggles with pressure and reads. Hometown hero arc possible too

No one is perfect. Just go get your guy and start gathering weapons. There is no slam dunk

Agreed wholeheartedly. What we invest around them is as important as the qb we take & more important in some cases.

In no way can I complain with Marios end results when it comes to securing a transfer. But for the sake of my hairline, can we secure one early?

Sorsby is the guy to go for as a very high floor but still good ceiling. He limits his mistakes a lot

Raiola is the guy to go for to try to hit our ceiling with imo. Mestemaker same except he gives 2 years

Houser would be the guy to get as an absolute bottom safe pick imo.
Not sure you would actually get 2 years from Mestemaker unless he just isn't good next year. He would be draft eligible since he redshirted in 2024 so if he put up numbers at Miami or any other school he likely would be NFL bound. Same with someone like Bailey if he takes the next step.

Bailey would have 3 yrs starting Exp while Mestemaker would have 2. Far more likely for him to return

Is it possible sure but if he puts up numbers the NFL isn't going to care if he only started 2 years. I'm just saying you are not automatically getting 2 years from either of them so I wouldn't go into it expecting it.
