2026 Portal QBs

If, by some miracle, we land someone worthwhile, I would for sure bring in a young guy whose currently on the bench with high upside to come sit on the bench and compete next year for the sole purpose of trying to create backup plans.

I still think we get a QB, but there were a number of very good true freshmen QBs this season. Maybe Dereon is that guy.

I love Beck and there’s nobody else I’d want at quarterback for this team. But we got the eval so wrong on Mendoza that I’m not blindly trusting the eval of Bailey. They have many things in common, most notably a steep upward trajectory since their junior years of high school.

If they don't get Bailey, it will be a massive failure on their part.

That would be the Oregon kid who entered the portal 5 days after enrolling.

Yeah. ESPN doesn’t show non-NCAA stats and seems to have just given up on updating players’ classes.

Retzlaff may be able to get a waiver, idk, but he’s not a junior.

If Retzlaff has eligibility then go get him. He would make way more money at Miami than his draft position if there even is one.

Underwood is not a good QB. Great athlete, though. The others yes.

genuinely can’t believe there’s no smoke. I am still over the moon with this program and this years team but man this situation has been handled so poorly.
