2026 Offense Line Projection?

Is there anything that can actually be done to fix the OL this season, or will we eventually get to a point where we have to scheme around them against good teams?

We are who we are imo.

More times than not, the coaches have the lineups exactly right for what they have in the building.

When the fans start screaming for Player X and Player Y to start here or play there, USUALLY it makes absolutely no difference. They see these guys every day im practice. Very rarely do they not have the best guys on the field.

It happens. But not often.

58 and 71 looked the part for me I would just go forward with them at G and make sure they get all the reps

Congdon has looked great to me….im no PFF guy but **** compared to 65, no comparison

79 Cantwell holding up just fine at LT
71 Merriweather looks good as well

This year I don’t think so. Especially for what our expectations are

Like someone said, we are what we are. We’ll be an inconsistent OL the rest of the year. It’s gonna bite us at some point. We need to hope 71/58 hit their strides really fast because 65/79 ain’t it. The wildest surprise is how ineffective 79 has been. Even at LT, he looks pretty darn slow. I know it’s early but I don’t see him part of the rotation the rest of the way unless he vastly improves

It’s disappointing that the OL is the weakest position on the team, especially after how dominant they were the past 2 seasons. Mario and Mirabel made a huge mistake not hitting the portal harder here.

Pass protection was really solid tonight. Lots of rotation from what I was able to notice - will have to rewatch though. Lots of dumb mistakes obviously.
