I thought the off topic board was like politics or something, we have multiple canes getting drafted next week, I am sure there will be a draft thread in football section or you moving them all here?

Politics is in Town Hall. Off Topic is for anything non-Canes related. Stuff related to Canes will stay in Eye In The Sky, everything else will end up in OT.

Just where they usually have bfl stuff. Personally I’d have this in the in sky for draft time then move to off topic after… especially since this is downtime for CFB…. But is what it is
 
So Giants trade Lawrence for Pick 10 straight up.

Giants are heavily rumored to be taking Jordyn Tyson.. prob at 10.

There could be good value getting DT at top of 2nd.

Question is do they go like Styles or Mauigoa at 5….

It was the main reason Oregon QB Dante Moore came back and he was thought of as top 2 pick (maybe he was straight off of Jets too, lol).. Crazy he was a top lock and he came back but Simpson came out. The draft for QBs is sooooo light he might get bumped up but it will be interesting to see where he goes and if he left money on table.

I really don’t know what to do with Terrell if his 40 was really that bad. But then again I see what Texans are doing with Lassiter.. but ultimately I think being slow at Cb is probably MOST important to just have pure speed at. Limits his ceiling.

So like between him and Ponds, I’m going ponds. Though I think if they both had to kick inside to nickel I probably would trust Terrelll more cause I think k he’s a better tackler.

I’m lower than condense on cisse for sure.

I think Chris Johnson is clear 3rd cb, and honestly, if Mccoys knee injury is as more serious than a normal ACl as it sounds… could be above him just for less overall risk…

I think it’ll be interesting to see where Stukes vs Scott get drafted.

If cardinals don’t trade back into 1st (to lock down the 5th yr option), I don’t think he gets picked in 1st round.

I think Rams when they had the 2nd first rounder was probably where Simpson was thinking he could go. But they don’t have that anymore. Steelers imo just won’t pick him in 1st. Jets are all in on 27 QBs. I mean the jets may go with like Beck/Nuss in 3rd/4th…

So only other team is Browns and Dolphins. Dolphins I could see at 30. Browns I just don’t think they do it.

If Cowboys pass on him at 20 (assuming they get Edge at 12) it’s probably not the best sign for him imo. They need DBs and Edge BAD
 
Oline could be 8-10 1st round picks tbh all the top 7 OTs are basically locks for 1st round pick imo. Then the question is if 1 or more OGs go. Vegas is a lock. But the next 3 guards any or all could end up 1sts. Most likely I think 8-9 OLineman in 1st this draft.

Then we have WRs which is imo a lock to have all 6 go 1st round.

So with OL and WR we have 14-15 guys most likely. Basically half the draft.

The other half will be 5-6 DBs, 1-2 LBs not including Reece, and the rest will be DLine. Primarily Edge. I think likely 2 DTs max, but it’s actually MORE likely 0 DTs are drafted than 2 tbh. Kayden McDonald is probably the most likely DT to be a 1st rounder… then Woods. But that’s it. A lot of DTs will go like top 50.

But there will be a lot of edges drafted in 1st. Reece, Bailey, Bain, Mesidor, Faulk, Lawrence, Parker, Young, and maybe Howell… all 1st rounders.

I really wouldn’t be surprised to see TE fall, Simpson prob ends up 1st ONLY to lock in 5th yr option.
