Such a massive drop off from 1-8 to 9-16

Not a shot in the world we creep up to Hattiesburg or Lawrence instead of Austin, Auburn, or Gainesville, right?

We finished with an RPI of the 30th, so they’d really have to be willing to throw it out this year to seed us 24th or higher.

Such a boring story.

College baseball is still niche enough they want to push the regional rivalries to get attendance. I get it, but it's still boring.

If that Regional happened, we have literally played those teams five teams already. Come on, send us somewhere we haven't already played a bunch.

Selfishly, a non-SEC #1 seed would be nice.

how many opposing fans are really traveling? UF fans are showing up regardless. The 2-3 game and 1st loser out games of most regionals are sparsely attended based on my tv watching.

At least someone like Auburn would be new.

Gators haven't hosted since 2003, which surprised me.

Attendance for those games:

vs. 4-seed: 7,367
vs. Texas Tech: 7,311
vs. UConn: 5,586
vs. Texas Tech: 5,793
vs. Texas Tech: 5,881

Seating capacity up to 10,000. It's a small sample, but just a representation of how college baseball doesn't sell out as much as you'd think even in tourney games.

That’s not accurate for sure. We were just there under Dimare and the Gators went 0-2 and we still somehow didn’t win the regional as a 2 seed.
