2026 Men's Basketball Recruiting

I wonder who is the highest ranked priority of the PG board between Taylen Kinney and Deron Ripley.
Inquiring minds want to know.

I don’t think we’ll be in his top seven when he trims his list in August—unless something unexpected happens.

You make a valid point and I agree with you.
I have Deron Ripley, Taylan Kinney, Toni Bryant, Alex Constanza and Arafan Diane in the group of guys that are probably hard for Miami to get but if it is possible then this staff will pull it off.
However, if Miami signs Willie Burnett, Collin Paul, Kevin Thomas, Caleb Gaskins and Marcis Ponder, I would be very happy because that is a great group to build the foundation for your future.

He probably stays in Texas with his commitment but I understand that Coach Lucas has to keep those connections open with his people in Texas.

I think he is on the list after Toni Bryant and Caleb Gaskins.
He is a really good player but I don't see Miami not getting either Bryant or Gaskins.

I heard a lot of noise about him and Providence but I didn't see a commitment to Florida State coming.

I agree with this philosophy, especially for a school like Miami with all of the local talents near the campus.
I understand Coach Jai is big fish hunting for his first recruiting class but there is nothing wrong with a class of Willie Burnett, Collin Paul, Kevin Thomas, Caleb Gaskins and Marcis Ponder.
Time will tell as we as fans can't lose either way.
