Marcis grew up playing football. He was a big time football prospect going into middle school. I think he may have even had a Miami offer back then. In the 8th grade he hit a growth spurt that saw him go from 6'5" to about 6'9". After outgrowing the sport and getting too big for the gridiron, he began playing basketball in the 8th grade. Late bloomer, who's starting to come into his own. I think, like many other P5 programs, Miami took a wait and see approach. If I'm not mistaken, Coach L offered him last year. I know some on the new staff like him, but not sure where he stands in Coach Jai's eyes. There's really no reason why we shouldn't be all over him. There are a couple of coaches on this new staff who have direct ties to Marcis' coaches.

We've been missing that type of size (big time pause) for a while. No reason to not be aggressive here

Marcus Pinder, Willie Burnett, Kevin Thomas, Colin Paul and Caleb Gaskins would be a really good recruiting class.
I like Toni Bryant and Alex Constanza a lot and hope they play for Miami but those 5 guys above can play also.
