2026 HS Baseball Season

I'll be watching former World Series MVP Livan Hernandez coaching (and celebrating his birthday) at Andre Dawson Field.

Being here in La. I obviously haven’t seen these pitchers we are recruiting in live action but I’m hoping at least 2-3 of the guys we are bring in will have plus stuff.

There’s no reason Miami shouldn’t have 3-4 guys every year that we can go to knowing that when they take the mound we have a great chance of winning without having to score 10+runs.

If Vandy can recruit them there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to.We have a bunch of starters now that seem to be in the “ run them out there and hold your breath” mode.

Again I’m just going off what I’ve seen on TV so maybe I’m wrong about the current staff but if I am JD must be holding on to them for ACC play cause I haven’t seen them yet so if I’m wrong please let me know ( without all the usual CIS “ you don’t know **** “ comments…TIA

DJ Ford is a kid from Tampa Catholic that we need to be looking at right now. Sophomore that is a baller and is getting national recognition.

DJ Ford is a kid from Tampa Catholic that we need to be looking at right now. Sophomore that is a baller and is getting national recognition.

I've been following him, and the coaches know about him for sure. He's the #2 player in the state. It takes an army to get these kids and to propagandize them. Any players you see tag @32JonnyA, and he sees all his Twitter mentions, and he appreciates the fans sending him players and caring.

Lombard's first game back

My son played recently vs Doral Academy.

They are obviously a great team. They sent Bryan Mesa packing and he ended up at Mater academy.

Their current SS is going to Jacksonville State. I wasn’t very impressed with their LSU kid (center fielder).

They have solid pitching but they all hit hard line drives everywhere. They have a nice sophomore pitcher that throws 90 (16 year old).
