On3 tabs Wilson as the nation’s No. 3 defensive lineman and No. 45 prospect overall. Alabama gets Wilson’s first official visit the weekend of May 30. He heads to Auburn the weekend of June 6. Ole Miss is set for June 13 and Miami is locked in for June 20. He is working to get Florida on the scheduled and talked about each of his finalists.

Regarding Miami: “The relationship I have with Coach Jason Taylor and Damione Lewis, I love the way that Coach Taylor teaches and the idea of being developed by an NFL Hall of Famer, which is someone who’s been there and done that and said they can get me there.”

And he plays like he's been shot out of a Canon! This is the type of kid we want on this DL! Would be an immense pickup! Could be a big powerful DE with rare speed and quickness or a 3 tech DT. Wilson is a very impressive prospect.

Would be a nice Edge add, but I don’t trust MS kids to sign with UM.
Hard to believe, for sure.

And are we thinking he's a DT? I like his athletic upside there but he'd have to pack on the weight.

James Johnson would our FR ready-to-contribute guy. Gotta get him.

No, he’s an edge and needs to play edge. We need to stop trying to make every DL we sign who is 240+ into an interior. Then we end up with 275-280 pound guys playing inside and complain that we are too small there. Recruit DTs to play DT.

I’m a 1000% supportive of that but not sure what the staff is thinking for position.

If hes truly 240 no reason to push him passed 275. A SDE body type who adds too much weight can lose some of that first step quickness and you need every bit of it to beat elite OT's.
