The cortisone shots are magic. I pitched my entire junior year in college with a bone spur in my elbow that came on a week before opening day.

I couldn't type on my computer without it hurting before that shot and ended up throwing 65 innings. 45 on the first shot and got another and threw another 20.

I think what’s more important to highlight is that they were able to get a World Series champion coach(though he was an assistant) to take their job.

FIU now has a more capable head ball coach than we do.

I know we don’t need to escape an area to play games but this would be so much more fun/interesting than playing some of the usual early season ****boxes. **** we could even host it.

Back in the 70s, Fraser would host our "Twin Tournaments". Two 4-team tournaments in back-to-back weeks with Northern teams on spring break providing the other 6 teams. It's tougher to do that now with conference scheduling commitments plus a limit on the number of games you can play in a season.
