How and why Missouri is claiming a college football title 66 years later

Like Oklahoma State and Auburn before, another team is ready to hang a banner long after the season's games were played.

The best player in the world, SGA, really ushered in a new phrase / slang / lingo when after the spurs kept beating them in the regular season, and he said this matchup isn’t our Super Bowl lmaoooo

Turned out to be premonitional when the spurs got rocked by the Knicks; and Wemby was crying after beating the Thunder

Really hated how Spurs acted after they won the west.. Like you mentioned, Wemby crying and such, guarantee next time, he just gonna grab the trophy and walk out.. Sucks they had to learn that lesson with no legit Vet around..

He gonna be like kobe now, lesson learned..

Crazy part was they beat em w/o ajay Mitchell and JDub too….ajay was really breaking out as a star on the biggest stage, it’s a shame.

West is weaker yet still interesting next year; the spurs and the Thunder are at the top however I don’t think either team is unbeatable

One of the most intriguing storylines so far is Xavier Lewis at UNC. Austin Peavy commit who BB flipped, to a UNC walk-on, when he got the job; now leads the country in sacks and TFLs.

On top of the disruption, he does it undersized and underweight, @ 6’ 260 lbs. Reminds me of The U documentary where they said JJ would move safeties to LBs, LBs to DLine, Ends to DTs. Hetherman may drop back one or two linemen and bring DBs to blitz on a 3rd and medium, which is one of the reasons he does not want 300+ guys who cannot move well. He’d rather have them put on their weight than have to put off weight.

It’s a bit of a cop-out to be down on our depth unless we get a David Folorunsho type this cycle. More just has to be should be expected of the guys we got in the ‘26 cycle, since we took 5 of them. Hopefully we see a couple of them this week.
