ACC Offensive Playmakers Leading the FBS
  • No conference has produced more explosive individual offensive performances than the ACC over the first two weeks of the season: the league leads the FBS in 300-yard passing games (6), 400-yard passing games (3) and 100-yard rushing games (8).
  • ACC quarterbacks have produced an FBS-high six 300-yard passing performances this season, more than the Big Ten (4), SEC (4), Conference USA (4) and Big 12 (3).
  • The ACC is the only FBS conference with a 400-yard passing performance this season, already producing three: Pitt’s Mason Heintschel (453), SMU’s Kevin Jennings (430) and Miami’s Darian Mensah (401).
  • The ACC is the only FBS conference with a 200-yard receiving performance this season, with Miami’s Malachi Toney recording 234 receiving yards.
  • ACC players have posted eight 100-yard rushing performances, the most among all FBS conferences.

Havent watched his tape, everyone keep highlighting his deep fade throw but thankfully Dawson dont care about that.. Have to see him process and can he click thru his progressions, can he anticipate, #1 for Dawson can he throw ACCURATELY, can he throw guys open, etc. Those are things we have to see, the flick of wrist throws are cool but why I only see one highlight being posted over and over. Ill check him out against better opponent

He is super raw as a prospect. Tremendous athlete, but last year he struggled with accuracy. If he stays on this trajectory he will be portal target #1. He is a hometown kid so pulling him out of Starkville may be tough.

Feel like even at Oregon they did soo much more, I know they fell in love with Harbaugh at that time but even Harbaugh at Michigan while tuff n fizical had a varied rungame. Mind you it works against most opponents but need to get to counter punch sooner than just running up into stonewall for a half.
 
At Oregon he also had Jim Mastro, as the running backs coach, who was apart of the Nevada staff that popularized the pistol offense as well. Colin Kaepernick was at Nevada during that timeframe which led to the Harbaugh connection.
