I know nothing about this guy but those highlights were smooth. Great midrange jumper. Confident with the ball in his hand. Would be a nice pickup
 


I think Bangot Dak is what the previous coaching staff envisioned Deng Gak becoming.
Sadly, injuries hurt his development as we never got to see him at his best in Coral Gables.

Gak is still playing, with modest success in Georgia (the country, not the state). Has been a real basketball nomad.

If not much else at UM, he showed that he could really run the court. As a 5, he wouldn't slow down any team's fastbreak.

Could have used his skillset as a backup big this past year

I did as well. Ultimately Dante could very well end up being a four year player for us so prioritizing him over Tru was the right move. Tru doesn’t want to be a senior 6th man.
