We've got more slots to fill than I expected, but after how Jai did last offseason filling the roster, and then taking that roster and ending with a 3rd place ACC finish? I trust him to fill the roster with some guys that will have us competitive in the league again, and back in the tourney. He's earned it.

I’m not sure Noam would’ve been allowed to to play at all under this rule. A ton of guys getting recruited or planning to comeback to school, like Cam’ron Fletcher, would be ineligible as well.

If this is retroactively universalized it would affect us with football as well — would Toure & Smith even be able to play under this ? This is a crazy thing to set in motion the day after the portal opens

Yaxel is out of eligibility and Morez Johnson/Aday Mara will likely jump and be first round picks. They also lose Burnett and Roddy Gayle, who were key reserves. Cadeau and Trey McKinney return but they have plenty of spots open.

Scouts finally realized he couldn't shoot. From the field or the FT stripe. That DeMatha HS pedigree got him over-evaluated.
