I apologize.
I still have PTSD from the small ball era of Coach L. I still see Nigel Pack pulling 30 foot 3 pt shots and others bad memories that got Miami 22 wins over those last two years.
I have to convert the 26 win Jai Lucas season in place of those memories.
Jai Lucas is the coach right, I remember some of you guys wanted Will Wade or Richard Pitino.
That part of my memory is very good.

No. . . The mens team had five guys enter the portal; including their two junior bigs. Ament is going pro while Gillespie and Okarpa are seniors. That’s virtually all of their production right there.

Absolutely. I can't think of the last PG to average 5 or more assists per game at Miami
Shane Larkin immediately comes to mind.

I think Vernon Jennings did it over a couple seasons in the late 90s/early 2000s. Not much of a shooter or scorer himself, he made the most of his distributing skills.

He had a lot of good options to pass the ball to -- Johnny Hemsley, Mario Bland, Tim James, Elton Tyler, John Salmons, and James Jones.

We won 23 games in both 1998-99 and 1999-00. Tied for the Big East Championship in the latter (made the Sweet Sixteen).

So with Tru, Dorvat and Maddox entering the transfer portal, that gives Miami 6 available scholarships to use to improve the roster.
Feels like they add two PGs, two wings and 2 bigs.
