I've kept up with him a bit

Definition of a guy that dominates high school and can't handle adversity.
Dude better learn how to handle the stuff that he can control...and work around what he cant

Gas doesn't always win games.

If he can't control 3 pitches he'll never start at a higher level

If he can't control 2...he wont be at Miami much longer

Collera needs to be almost completely rebuilt from the ground up. He has so many leaks that never got cleaned up and not it’s one big mess.

He shouldn’t be pitching this summer he should be in the lab. If someone told me he was transferring to a Juco after the fall I wouldn’t be shocked.

I'll say this..the tools are at Miami. Im not sure if the right staff is there. And yes I know we're 'supposed' to have 'pitching coaches'....I'm still not sold.

But we have the resources there, outside of that.

What I worry about most? Laz may need a mental coach more than a pitching coach.
 
Who’s getting better this summer? Lot of guys struggling from what I’ve seen

Lot of guys should be in the lab instead of playing
 
Wareham had Vance Sheahan hitting 9th last night…he’s hitting under .200 in the Cape

I hope we bring in another MIF just to keep the competition high

They have too, the kid aint a SS...

There is no way JD with that pitching mindset is going to bring a weak defensive SS.

I've said it before and I will say it again. This kid had more errors last year than Gonzales and Ogden combined.

I'm not so worried about the avg... Ogden hit below 250 in his 2024 summer league stint.

Ogden was also rated as a Top 100 prospect in the portal, this guy is rated outside the Top 200

I’ve already watched Sheahan commit a few errors in the Cape

If you can’t hit, and can’t play defensive???

Pro baseball radar has him as a top20 overall transfer
