I read somewhere the Titans cancelled their private work out with Sanders as well.... seems like it is going to be Cam #1 regardless and only way the Titans move is if someone offers insane amount of picks or value but with the way the draft fell this year and looking at team needs I candidly dont see anyone making that leap.

They did. Sanders taking a "30" visit to Pittsburgh on Thursday.
the National sports guys are basically saying now there's nothing the Titans will take in trade for #1. It's essentially shut down.

Titans brought in one of Cam's WR from Wazzu today for a 30 visit. Looks like they are putting some guys together to bring in for the offense.

This kid is getting drafted and I suspect he's going to go higher than most people expect. He's just too fricking talented, and you know Miami coaches will speak highly of him.

Candidly, he ****ed me off most of last season with some plays that could have been game changing that he just couldn't seem to execute. But he also blocked like a beast and sprung our guys on a couple critical plays, and seemed to get his groove more and more over the course of the season. If he had arrived in Spring, I think he would have been really good for us. He's the type of guy that could be a better pro than college player.

Todd McShay released his final Top 300 players

140. Damien Martinez
211. Xavier Restrepo

Looking at this list I just realized my panthers could use every single one of these player even beyond the obvious talent deficit we're currently operating with.
In order of need combined with the talent of the player:

1. Cam - wouldn't work behind our line as currently constructed but this is a guy you adjust your roster to. Current O-line is better against the run than the pass.
2. Arroyo - talent is too great. Any play caller that can't use him shouldn't be in the league.
3. X - chain mover & will likely be an upgrade from Theilen once he's done.
4. Rivers - need isn't there but we have 1 of the highest paid G tandems in the NFL. If 1 of them gets injured & he pops then you can get out from 1 of those contracts. Also his positional flexibility will come in handy next year as a swing tackle when our current RT contract is up.
5. Damien - better than any back on our roster to my eyes. We just paid Chubba & I don't know if you can move on from him without taking a decent dead cap hit but I'm a firm believer in not being complacent & upgrading the roster at every opportunity.
6. Andy - would provide consistency to a position that's been lacking for years.
7. Barrow - nice depth for an epically bad defense. His pass rush is sorely needed.
8. George - good using his hands to create separation. Given his size, don't know if that will translate to the nfl. Speed isn't spectacular but shouldn't be an issue.
9. Mauigoa - situational LB. Solid depth.
10. Tyler - probably a better fit for Evero's defense than he was for Guidry's but we all saw the drop off once the level of competition rose. Bank on his athletic ability making him a reliable situational pass rusher.
11. Sam - without a doubt the best athlete on this list but an enigma. Willing blocker but lacks situational awareness. Physical traits may make him an impact player but it's far from a guarantee.

That was fun for me! Now you try. Or just ignore this long *** post that has nothing to do with anything you care about.

I’ve said this before, but whichever team is getting Restrepo is getting a **** of a deal, assuming he goes that low.

No version of the multiverse exists where Maye is a better prospect than Cam.

Posting this after only scoring 25 on the Saints is…something. The only team who scored less vs the Saints this year was Arizona week 1 one.
Yeah, it's not like the referees went after the Patriots, taking multiple big plays away with phantom calls where nothing happened. But sure, 0.5 EPA/Play isn't that good, only 2nd best for all QBs this week of football...

And you should be comparing Ward with Maye’s 4 win play last year, not this one

Left number is snaps played, right number is EPA+CPOE composite, which is the best metric for evaluation of QB play.

And this is Drake Maye playing with a FA C picked up off the street, a LT currently being the teams backup and a RT, who hasn't played in a game since, not to mention a receiving corps that was dog****. The team was so bad people said they shouldn't draft Maye and trade down, because the talent level was going to kill him. Ward has received decent enough support for a rookie QB to start off and he'll ball once everything has settled down.

Maye outplayed Josh Allen, the leagues reigning MVP, on SNF in Buffalo a week ago. I love Cam Ward, but Maye was never the worse prospect of the two.

Maye has Sean Hocculi to thank for that win. You should be excited that your QB went 4-2 vs bottom 15 defenses in the league.

Im also just saying this as a Pats hater more than anything

It's been over a week and the only thing I'm seeing is Bills fans complaining about being called for stuff that is being regularly called.

Not the refs fault y'all could stop Diggs, not the refs fault that your 320 lbs NT couldn't pull Maye to the ground, not the refs fault Josh Allen threw a pick in the red area, etc etc etc

Plus, Bills played against the same ****** schedule the Pats played against. I'm not sure what the argument is here.

It was his fault for the multiple penalties in the 1st half and then no calling the blatant DPI on Gonzalez that puts us in position to at least tie if not win the game.

While our schedule is terrible, 4th place teams play each other which makes it even more cupcake for you.

I’m hating just to hate, I do the same for anyone who’d try and praise the Gaytor too

I watch a lot of NE games. Maye is good. But he hasn't dealt with an OL and overall offense even remotely bad as the Titan offense. Ward gets sacked before he finishes his drop back multiple times a game. It's a dumpster fire.
