Tears 2025 NFL Cuts of UM players (What a Bloodbath!)

I paid attention, as much as you can from outside the organization, and it never seemed like he got a real shot. He was always put with the 3rd string QBs. I don't think he ever got reps with the 1s or even 2s. tough to climb up from that . Never seemed like the WR coach was interested in him
I agree with you but that's usually how it goes as an udfa. His inability to contribute as a special teamer ultimately hurt him. If you can only play slot and can't return kicks you're gonna have a hard time making a team as an udfa.

Unfortunately That’s what running a 4.8 will do to you.

I always use NFL as a gauge of talent, but Restrepo is an exception. Classic college player who was dominant for us in 2024. Everybody knew he was getting the ball and he made the play anyway.
X wasn’t the best athlete but he was consistent and knew how to get open. He was our most productive receiver through multiple QBs because they trusted him.

He may or may not have the athleticism to make plays at the next level but he was a great college receiver for us

Agree, but there is receivers on this roster that will get drafted into the NFL and that’s something that sadly, didn’t happen for X. Also, let’s revisit this in a year or two with Toney.
I think both of you guys are right. The caveat is “this year”. I don’t think we’ll see a WR season this year like X had but I also think there’s guys who can and will get drafted at WR on this roster.

NFL could care less about weed or just about any substance they can assist in disguising. They literally tell us when we're gonna be tested several months, worst case weeks in advance so we can stay ahead of ****.

I just wanted to use this.

He had very few reps there too. Titans seemed to want to use their starting WR and James Proche for punt and KO returns.
He needed to prove he can cover and/or block a punt/FG and return punts. Did the Titans give him any burn doing that stuff?
Very few reps. They had ****, Proche and one of their other two deep guys getting most of the reps

Borregales hasn’t been good but I don’t think New England would draft a kicker only to cut him months later. My guess is he gets the full season there but if he doesn’t improve he will be gone.

Think Titans are delaying Festrepo being cut to increase odds they can secure him for PS.
It's clearly a racist management group and the NFL owners plotting against him cause of his pops. I heard from an executive at McDonald's that the NFL called around and red lighted drafting him. But Tennessee said nah we can't do that to x.

Just because he didn't get reps in the pre-season games doesn't mean he didn't get any in camp. He was in a competition and lost. It shouldn't be surprising because he wasn't even a good punt returner while he was here.

What’s the deal with X’s dad?
