2025 NFL Combine

not to my knowledge. ACCN spoke to him at some point but he wasn't all over the field giving intervews. Did you see them?

I don't remember which broadcast it was- probably the NFL Network- there was a shot of the sidelines and Mario was standing with a bunch of Miami players
I only saw 2. 1 with ACCN and 1 with NFLN. Wouldn’t call that a tour.

People try to nitpick the dumbest ****.

It’s one thing to say “I don’t think his game translates to the NFL.” Which could be completely valid and possible.

But to say “His game won’t translate to the NFL because he pats the ball” is stupid. It’s sounds like some salty old scout that’s only claim to relevance is because he’s been doing it for 40+ years. Just because someone has been doing something for a lifetime doesn’t mean they’re good at it.

Ron Jaworski highly disliked Aaron Rodgers as a prospect, because he held the ball too high when he dropped back to throw.

There was a local reporter for the Patriots hating Gronk as a draft pick because he was "stiff".

And JJ Watt lacked lateral mobility and quickness to threaten tackles off the edge.

Every year there's some weird **** being thrown around.

Brother, I will NEVER forget the A-Rod draft. I got to see Rodgers live a couple of times, & honestly, I think Kyle Boller fck’d up Rodgers’ pay day; but, it was clear Rodgers was not Boller.

Could be worse... imagine not drafting AJ Brown because he had too much fun during the visit, so you draft N'Keal Harry instead.

Brother; real ****…I’m back in school to obtain project mgmt & sports mgmt certification to break into the industry. There’s a lot of **** poor scouts & GMs in the world of sports.
Last year, Drake Maye was the second coming of Mitch Trubisky and is footwork was so poor, JJ McCarthy was rated higher at times.

Proceeded to play at a league average level with a historically bad supporting cast. Some people yap just to yap.

It was the Tedford five: Trent Dilfer, Akili Smith, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Kyle Boller. They had people terrified of drafting Rodgers

I'm big time believer in Drake Maye.

He's got second to none arm talent & very good athletic ability being able to move outside the pocket & pick up yards on scrambles.

He's got an Aaron Rodgers caliber arm, but is physically bigger.

The Pats will be a playoff team with him once they sure up the OL.

I've seen him do things that very QBs do. Colts and Rams felt if they play their zone schemes, he would make errors reading and making decisions.

Went up and down the field on them. His athletic ability was always there but his mental growth was insane to watch.

Here's the interesting thing, though.

The reports said that both teams were "QB-needy" teams picking in the top 10. So unless he's got some "top 3 guarantee", that's a terrible approach to take towards teams that need a QB.

Even if he doesn't want to play for "X team", you still should be making yourself so desirable that another team wants to trade up for you. But if you **** around and the word gets out, your value declines, even if some team "does" want to take Shadeur.

It's just unprofessional. Meanwhile, Cam is out there answering every question and acting like every team who wants to meet with him is a team he would love to play for.
Seems Shedeur misplayed his cards.
