RPI beats common sense 99 times out of 100 for the selection committee.

Also, UVA’s non-conference SOS is an atrocity, and the committee has made an example of them specifically for that in the past.
 
Off the top of my head UVA has 4-5 Quad 1 wins where three of them came against us

Miami has 8 quad 1 wins I believe which doesn’t include the NC State sweep

As long as there aren’t any ridiculous bid stealers, we will be a three seed in a very hard regional (ex - Texas and DBU or Coastal and UF)

Ask yourselves one question - do any of you think, in your heart of hearts, that either Texas or Dallas Baptist look at having Miami as a 3 seed in that regional and are concerned/scared *at all*? Because if I'm them, I wouldn't be concerned in the least.

No. If this team can get run-ruled by Cal, I am fearful to what a team like DBU or Texas will do...
 
I wouldnt say they are concerned...or not concerned. But imagine we are now at a time where Miami is a "Dangerous" 3 seed that cant be taken lightly.

Hugus could def give us 5-6 legit innings vs DBU and we pull an upset (that sounds ridiculous to type too..."Miami upsets DBU")

But who knows where we go and who we get. But that will be our role in any region a tough 3 seed you dont want to let hang around.

The same Hugus who got blown up in his last three starts? We have no business in the Knoxville Regional.
The Coastal Carolina Regional would be our best chance to win.
