I might have to make that trip if we ended up there.

They have one of my favorite arms in the country. Cameron Flukey. Super funkey RHP with electric stuff. 96-98. I'm to cheap to pay for subscriptions but I have to believe he is a top 50 player for the MLB draft.

I'd also put that staff against anyone in the country with regards to development. From physical improvement, to baseball skill to baseball IQ. That staff is tremendous.

3 seed wouldn't be that bad.

Is it still the case that if a 3 seed wins in a regional, they are the home team in the second game? (As the 1 seed was the home team in their first game)

This weekend is big for obvious reasons.

But its also another opportunity to see just where we stand in the big picture. Right now we are middle of the pack...Duke is our best series win who is middle of the pack as well. I think Gtech probably ends up middle of the pack once everyone finishes out. So we have basically beat up on average to below average teams. The two sweeps have been huge. Assume even mediocre play the final 3 weekends we should end up with a decent seed in the Acc Tourney too.

Winning the series this weekend would def be huge...But even a hard fought 2-1 loss would keep momentum heading into a mid tier UVA and below average but dangerous ND team that is fighting for a post season.

A win Sunday would’ve put us in a 4 way tie for second.

Notre Dame is surging. If it wasn’t for us, they’d be the hottest team in the conference. Swept Stanford and Cal, lost to Purdue midweek (imagine), took series from Lou this weekend.

Glad the series Thursday starts at home.

Canes have an interesting argument as to where they’re all finish in the conference standings versus their RPI with five teams ranked

0-2 or 1-2 in regionals. Calling it right now.
It all depends on how they are playing in 3 weeks. If they stay as hot as they are now, they could win a regional.

Baseball is the "streakiest" of all sports IMO, mostly because hitters get hot at the right time. Pitchers rarely go in slumps for weeks at a time, and we've got a solid rotation and pen right now.

Hope I’m wrong but my fear is they got hot a week or two early
