I know some times they draft guys late just to build a relationship with them for future drafts too
 
Ogden is in a tough situation. This isn’t meant as a slight either. He’s prob maxed as a player. Which would be great for us because he can come back and do great. He’d have to really pack on some strength to maybe become a 20 homerun type of guy.

But he really should prob take the money and run if drafted. Hes not an mlb guy in today’s game. Unfortunately hard nosed speedy slick fielding 2B are few and far between in the show. Awesome guy to have on our team and would def be the guy to make us go next year on offense. But he’d need a ridiculous big senior year to go high in the draft and make some money.

He hit 5 hr as a SR. More of a doubles hitter.

Dude has an absolute gun, good speed, size and right now a long swing.

Will take some adjusting to hit in college but has the tools to be a star. Could easily be a pitcher.

Devils advocate - take the comparable NIL money and start your real career next summer w your brain, instead of wasting the first 4 - 6 years of your post-college career in the minors.

Also, not a slight on his skills ... just realistic. And he's one of my favs in recent memory, despite just being a Cane for a year.

Kool response. Now take a look at how many players have been drafted from each team in the last 2 years and consider both coaches have been with their programs 3 and 2 years.

Also tell me which program is most likely going to win a championship first.
