247 just released their all-impact freshman team for the 2025 season. Kellen Wiley is listed at Linebacker as the ’Canes only representative. Who else do you guys think could make a big impact as a freshman for the Hurricanes next year?

DE Hayden Lowe(Deserves every bit of his 5 star rating. Good enough to make an impact as a true freshman. Could have a similar impact to what Rueben Bain had in 2023. Explosive pass rusher with quickness, speed, bend and closing burst.)

LB Kellen Wiley( Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up starting at some point this year. The tip of the spear type we desperately need at LB.)

WR Malachi Toney(Excellent football player who blew me away at QB in the State Title Game. Will challenge for the starting slot position immediately.)

KR/PR Bryce Fitzgerald(Everyone's always talking about an electrifying kick/punt returner. Well, here he is!)

TE Brock Schott(Another pure all around football player that we are beginning to stock up on. A weapon in the passing game.)

OL SJ Alofaituli(Another pure all around football player. Won't start on the OL this year but gives us so many interesting options in the running game as a H-Back or FB along with Lofton, Fletcher and Lyle.)

QB Luke Nickel(Will challenge for QB2 in 2025 and QB1 in 2026.)

RB Gerard Pringle(Playmaker at RB who brings excellent speed along with the vision, cutting ability and contact balance needed to contribute as a true freshman.)

toney is a better version of X
Better?! Or more athletic? Better ….that’s putting a **** ton of pressure on an incoming Freshman. In our history, there has been a lot of “dudes” to play WR at Miami. X put up better numbers than ALL of them. Hopefully this kid is the goods and he can equal what X was able to accomplish here. I would wait and see before I say better.

CWH is going to surprise some people.
People are too quick to write him off. It's hard to get meaningful reps in practice when are the 6th string rb. People on here that criticize him for being that far down forget we had one of the best rb rooms in the country
