2025 feels different

I basically get the same feeling on offense this season as I did last season. And it ain’t good. I’m just waiting for the bad to happen.

Would love the last 3 games to be different, but I’ll have to see it to believe it.

I don't know.....to me, it feels like the same trends we've seen before.

The roster has never had more talent under Mario, but continues to start slowly in games and play down to lesser opponents as the season goes on. You don't change the optics until you change the trends.

I mean, we’re 9 games into a 12 game season. At this point we are what we are.

We’re a very good defensive team with just enough offensive talent to win most games. Our offense just isn’t good enough to overcome a bunch of terrible mistakes so when we commit a **** ton of penalties and turnovers, we tend to lose. If we play reasonably smart, we win even if it’s not always pretty.

This style of team tends to hold up better against good opponents than the all offense/no defense type of team we had last year. A top tier defense will at least keep you in every game. It’s just up to the offense to not shoot themselves in the foot.
