I live down the road from UMass. I keep hoping Frank Martin will make them good again, but games like this are probably the best it's going to get. And now they're in the MAC instead of the A10, which is worse. BC should be able to build an excellent basketball program, but it's an exercise in futility for a while, even before Blake James, but he has not helped. They are pathetic. Today is the first time I've watched any part of an FSU game this year. Wow, they're bad too.

We will have our own real ACC season soon, ladies started today. After beating Georgia State by 50 now are losing 35-13 in 2nd period to a so-so NC State. Sigh.

From bad to worse, shooting 7 for 30 Lady Canes scored 7 and down 48-20 at the half... enough to make me switch to NFL!
