MEGA 2024 Fall Ball

We alluded to us playing FAU last week. They are still waiting to announce a start time. The game is the same day as Miami vs Louisville in football.

I assume the football game will be a night game. So expect the baseball game to be around the 12pm-3pm range on start time

I was thinking about this earlier. ABC will almost certainly show Alabama-Tennessee and Georgia-Texas in the 3:30 and 7:30 timeslots. That would leave the noon ABC slot if we're going to get on network TV. Probably a night game like you said if we get stuck on cable.
 
Start time for the FAU game is 1pm. Regardless of what time the Louisville vs Miami game is at.

Hope to see a lot of you at the scrimmage so we can talk ****😂😂🤣

Only hit of the day was Derek Williams hitting a missle down the 3rd base line against Ryan Ashford.
 
I was sitting with Mike Kaffee through 1.5 innings he wasn't impressed with the two starting pitchers today

We saw two innings of Ashford he looked better in the 2nd inning. He was slightly and i mean slightly missing the plate on a few pitches, His slider and curveball are very nice pitches. I think he's someone we can work with for sure, hopefully he makes the roster. I wouldn't count to much on him this season but a good development piece.

Ciscar we only saw 1 inning. His command was not there, but his velocity was a lot faster than Ashford.

Only hit of the day was by Derek Williams who hit the ball right down the 3rd base line. Great AB by him
 
If you are in the Facebook group Mike Kaffee has posted his review of the 1.5 innings. I will wait until he post the article on gablesinsider.com so he can get the clicks so gablesinsider can know people care about the baseball program
