Official 2023 WR Nathaniel "Ray Ray" Joseph COMMITS

@Hoyacane1620 posted on another thread that Louisville & TAMU also involved. Basically, NIL battle along with Mario and staff basically making him feel as priority #1 it seems.

Definitely not a lock to stay at Clemson.

Exactly. That’s the main takeaway, it aint gonna be Clemson when it boils down to it or he would have nipped all of this after the visit.

Who would have guessed Louisville would come out guns blazing in nil… I completely overlooked them when discussing potential nil come ups. Papa johns and the home of bourbon coming on strong

Also, it's in a metro area which can mean many more NIL opptys. Outside of the major P5 teams in metro areas (Miami, USC, and a few others), the next group is headed by teams like Louisville, cincy, etc.

What's the deal with Louisville's NIL program? Ivins mentioned that's got them in the game with some power recruits.

They’ve landed a bevy of talented kids from Cali. Under Satterfield they recruited like absolute dog ****… now they are making some serious noise on the trail. You don’t hear **** about their NIL deals tho unlike Ruiz

Papa John's money. They will be able to offer solid money going forward, not Ruiz money but enough to be a factor, definitely way more of a factor than in the past.

It’s mostly all because of the QB commit Pierce Clarkson who’s the son of Steve Clarkson who just had that big QB camp a week or 2 ago. They got pull on the west coast & Louisville been coming to Florida for kids awhile now. It’s make or break for Satterfield here this year anything less than 8 wins he’s probably gone & yeah nil money is there to spend if they can put a quality product on the field.
