Rode the train up the Gorge...waste of time if there are leaves on the trees, not much to see-view is blocked for most of the ride.

Always wanted to bike that trail...we have some cool trails around here but not that length.

All the time, actually! My wife is from Ephrata so I spend a good amount of my free time in Lancaster County LOL

Long time ago went to Millersville for a few years, graduated from Alvernia in Reading though. Lived just outside of Lancaster city for several years...surprisingly fun nightlife back then....I do enjoy hitting Lititz and Ephrata occasionally for brewpubs/restaurants...have a few friends in the area.

While in school worked at Park City Mall at a sporting goods store.....Nike pro forms, Oakley discounts, free ski equipment....good times.

Alvernia was our rival in college. Unfortunately they were loaded when I played so we didn’t fair to well in most games…and they had a future MLB catcher and the D3 player of the year.

Lonnie Walker Sr was a stud for them in hoops. Used to bring his baby to games. I wonder whatever happened with that kid.

Moved back to PA after 45 years in MA
Locals told me they changed the name because prospective students got poor results if Google search was not specific.

Yes…you can Imagine as the internet really exploded what would pop up if you searched Beaver College.

They said it was because they wanted to become a university so we argued to call it Beaver University.

I am the last graduating class that could get Beaver on their diploma.

Not sure I'll be back there for another meet, but I may spend some time down there with the wife. I love the peace and quiet. The buggies in the road are a trip to me, but I appreciate it. It's a different world out there, very primitive.

The area has been developed quite a bit and you can tell its a challenge for the natives to maintain their culture. I learned that a lot are moving to Ohio - more land seemed to be the reason.

Nonetheless, I love PA. Cool state.
