2023 Team Talent Composite

We consistently have done less with more so I agree. Even on down years we usually have top 15ish classes. Not national championship stuff but good enough to consistently be better than we’ve been.

IMO, it screams low-tier acc-level development of talent in some cases and just bad talent in others.
We've had decent assistants. I want to blame it more on culture than anything else. It started with the type of players we were trying to attract during the Manny era. Manny's whole PR game was come down to south beach where you can sun and party for 4 years.

5-7…all on MC..

true but we know he can be better than that. I think this year will tell all. Last year was just a **** show in so many ways and he has addressed a huge part of that with a practically new and upgraded team and hungrier coordinators that seem to scheme around the talent they have. Looking forward to this season.

Miami might legit be #1 in players that are above average P4 starter quality that are being counted below their present value in the talent composite calculator.

Review of what the ratings mean:

Notable players not listed as blue-chip out of HS:

All-Big Ten Honorable mention that has also started games at Guard, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

NFL measurables and projected early round pick, that is blue-chip quality

One of the best backs in the country, that is blue-chip quality

Best slot WR in the country, that is blue-chip quality

All-Big-12 before he arrived and a standout player when healthy, that is blue-chip quality

Two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention, Region 3-6A Player of the Year in HS, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

Trench bully on the the NFL radar, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

Was lock down last year, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

NFL prospect who is good in the run and rushing the passer, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

Experienced veteran who will get NFL looks, that is above average 3* and the average 4* is not this good

Getting compared to Caleb Williams in scouting reports, this is a 5* talent ceiling

And these 3* are getting camp rumblings as dudes:

TLDR
NoTalentBoyz LLC are filing Chapter 11 and being chased to Mexico
