2023 Starting Oline....need help.

LT - portal
LG - Francis
C - Clarke
RG - Rivers
RT - Samson

I doubt JC comes back.

In the top 7 rotation: Cooper, Portal.

Cooper MIGHT push for a starting guard spot.

I know we love Samson and Francis but I'd rather not start the year off with 2 true freshman bookend tackles.

We've seen enough of these usual suspects, it seems as if they've been here for 7 years and never got better - Two seasons ago they were billed as having the most starts in the NCAA - but they were poor, low quality starts, and they haven't gotten better. Its almost impossible for guys to be around each other this long and not have a stretch of cohesive play as a unit.
 
Campbell Rivers and Clark will be the returning guys. Cooper will get burn, Francis and Samson (If he comes here) will be in the two deep day 1. I’m assuming Zion is gone.

Guys like Washington, Rodriguez, Seymore Butts, McLaughlin, and Denis shouldn’t be here.

Miami needs to hit the portal hard here. Bring in at least 2 OL.

Campbell and Clark are not good.

Francis will be a freshman, albeit very talented.

Cooper will be continuing to learn, and likely improve from this year.

Rivers, if healthy, will be by far our best OL again next year.

Samson would significantly upgrade the line. We need him day 1.

We need to hit the OL portal hard. Like so gapingly that even Desmond Fatson could fit through.

I bet Mario and Mirabel wouldn’t mind putting Francis and Samson out there week 1. Donaldson started as a freshman and did pretty well. After that year tho he went downhill.
 
In this thread I have read Zion is coming back next season and also read he will not be back. Does anyone definitely know?
 
Can rivers play center??

If so Cooper is a starting guard we need going forward

Samson, Cooper, Rivers, Mauigoa, Campebell( or portal)

I been counted him out since nobody knows what his injury is or how serious so I just assumed it's an opt out
 
Would love to have a center that knew what he was doing and didn’t get ragdolled. Can’t remember the last center that held up physically.
