Spring 2023 Spring Games

Cade looked good in Riley’s Offense, they go Tempo often & their run game has probably been impacted the most by the new system. They’re going to get a lot of quick counter runs & they’re going to work the seams a lot.

Their backup Hunter Helms, sucks ***. Hunter Johnson came back after being at Northwestern but he’s always been a pedestrian passer with a limited arm.

Their biggest issue is they don’t have much speed on the perimeter, they have a lot of size at WR & have some good TE’s that can work the middle of the field, but their Outside Speed is lacking.

Their Defense is absolutely STACKED, especially the DLine & the Secondary has been replenished, but they’re mostly young guys. But this will be another Good Defensive season from Clemson.

3rd string RB was terrific as well
Pope and other TE did great job sitting down and finding soft spots in zone. As you noted, only 2 wrs worth a ****. Williams and frosh noble
Klubnick was a disaster. Slow read and release. Leaned on his arm strength.couple of times and that D feasted
D is something. LBs may be best theyve had in a while. That's a compliment
Dl is stout. Davis and ororororo move and fill gaps great. Couple of DE youngsters are not Henry or murphy but few are.

But best was pearman. But he's frosh and tiny

Boyd, the.kicker was explosive
Ko deep in and out EZ
51 yard FG w plenty to spare

No utility guy seen
No renfro, slot KR type of guy on field

Had time to watch some more spring games

No matter who they hire as OC, it still looks like the same ol Fisher offense. The offense looked bad and the QB play was the main reason. When you look at A&M QB room compared to Texas, it’s just sad.

The only thing that has held them back is Jumbo.

We should have beat them last year in College Station but we matched Jimbo in that game…

Alabama QBs struggle through Tide's spring game

Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson, the two Alabama players vying to replace Bryce Young as starting quarterback, struggled during the Crimson Tide's annual A-Day scrimmage on Saturday, throwing a combined three interceptions.
