Single fall game at FAU once again. I’m wondering if the Alumni Game counts as one of our fall exhibition, because I don’t understand why we don’t use the second game against Nova, Barry, MDC, etc otherwise.

The Orange and Green World Series is the final week of October.

You are allowed 2 scrimmages/exhibitions within the 45 days of fall baseball.

I think the baseball alumni game is an exemption; something like 17.3..something in the NCAA manual.

Unless something has changed....so they could play two. Maybe they will still add a game with someone. I wish they would bring in 2 JUCO's...let those kids compete vs the squad and see who shines.

I don't see how there's any room for JUCO's.
• Roster size for Spring '23 will be 35, and MAY be up to 40 if a team has seniors who missed 2020 season.
We are already at 39 and I only see one Covid Senior on the team.

The Hurricanes’ 54-game regular season slate includes 32 home contests at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field and features 24 games against eight different 2022 NCAA Tournament teams.

Notable:
-Other non conference series are: Penn State (opening weekend), Dartmouth, and Presbyterian
-Open conference play at home against NC State
-FGCU is dropped from the schedule.
-4 games against FIU and FAU. Jacksonville and Stetson will make midweek appearances. Single midweek games also with Bethune and UCF.
-32 home games and playing just 54 games overall.
-With two home ACC series to open and a home series to close, we have a stretch of 5 of 7 ACC road series.

Every year, there is always an oddball opponent on the schedule. This year its Pedo State. I never even knew they had a baseball team. Same for the Presbyterian "Blue Hose". They are in fact, a D1 program hailing from South Carolina. (We'll thump homers and they'll thump bibles) Also it's the second year in a row hosting an Ivy league club.

PSU must just be Coach Coop looking for a trip back to his alma mater.

They stink...last year was a great year by their standards. He did a great job at Wright State but he just cant seem to get PSU over the hump.
