I actually think Herman would do really well here.
Curious about Lance. He has had a lot of success wherever he is. But he isn’t a spring chicken. Why hasn’t a better program scooped him up by now in his career?1A) Luke Fickell
1B) Bill Clark
3) Lance Leipold
4) Jamey Caldwell
5) Willie Fritz
Out of Left Field-
1) Ken Dorsey: Current QB coach for the Bills and has made tremendous strides with a 2nd QB(First was Cam). Matt Rhule and Dabo made similar jumps.
2) Chuck Pagano- one of the best DCs in the NFL and has always been one of the best NFL defensive minds. That idiot GM failed him big time with his roster.
3) Hugh Freeze- Only if we get serious about football and there’s an AD change.
As an Alabama analystHe will be employed in 2022.
based on???I actually think Herman would do really well here.
My opinion?? Texas was too big for him.based on???
Too many resources???My opinion?? Texas was too big for him.
There’s more going on behind the scenes at Texas. I wouldn’t want to deal with that AD and the BoT’s sniffing up your *** every single second.Too many resources???
Exactly. If Mario played at Utah, he would never be mentioned on this board. I disliked the thought of hiring him every time his name has come up. Yes, he might be better than Manny, but simply settling for better than Manny isn't enough.Lol at the bums on that list. Mario lost as many games as us, in a worse conference, with barely half the games played but sure.
Can’t wait for this board to find their new favorite coach to obsess over, just to watch them shït the bed like the other corches the geniuses of CIS have focused on over the years.
Tough dynamic..... we want that at Miami... until....There’s more going on behind the scenes at Texas. I wouldn’t want to deal with that AD and the BoT’s sniffing up your *** every single second.
My take: he spent many many years in d3 which is a strike against him. He absolutely killed it in d3 for years, though. Tressel was a great coach at Youngstown state for years dominating and Ohio state saw through the level at what sustained success meant.Curious about Lance. Good stuff. He definitely has plenty of time for a good long run somewhere. To your point, he has had some serious success at other levels. Just surprised a lowere level G5 program hasn’t given him his shot. But who knows, maybe they have called and he turned some things down.My take: he spent many many years in d3 which is a strike against him. He absolutely killed it in d3 for years, though. he’s done a great job at Buffalo turning around a program with crap resources and horrific recruiting base. That’s the thing: (and same with Chadwell) I always love coaches who do great at multiple spots as that means they usually install a culture that works regardless of that the resources that they have. Same applies with Brian Kelly and the extreme example in Urban Meyer.
Hes 56. Mack is what? 69? Saban about the same? He’s more than young enough to squeeze out a 10-15 year career in power 5 if given the chance.
I don't know much about Matt I hear good things always but a.poster said he doesn't recruit and u need to be able to do both at UM imo. We need a dogMatt Campbell should be #1
