4.5 mil a year? That's not much more than what Richt was making. 4.1 mil in 2016 is just close to 4.5 mil today. If you don't think Campbell is worth 4.5 mil so Miami wouldn't pay that, then I agree.

Campbell raises his voice to unacceptable decibel levels in the locker room and gets the most out of his players. He would be a bad fit culturally for what our school is looking for.

I think he should be one of the highest paid coaches in football but I’m a realist. This BOT isn’t willing to spend money to make any money as the old saying goes.

Miami already paid that much for a coach. Richt's 2016 salary of 4.1 mil was 50k less (in today's money) than the 4.5 million salary you say Campbell would cost, plus the school was giving Richt an additional 1.5 million to get an OC. I truly hope you didn't catch the mope disease that has taken down so many posters here. Symptoms of mope disease include feelings of insecurity, vaginal bleeding, and making up of silly assertions now about what the school would and wouldn't do. There are many, many legitimate gripes about the competence of the AD and others running the program so there is no simply need to make up absurd claims like "the school wouldn't never pony up 4.5 mil for a HC" to make the case that the program is run by incompetent people. The school has already put way more that what you said Campbell would cost on the table already.

Lol at the bums on that list. Mario lost as many games as us, in a worse conference, with barely half the games played but sure.

Can’t wait for this board to find their new favorite coach to obsess over, just to watch them shït the bed like the other corches the geniuses of CIS have focused on over the years.
