2022 DE Shemar Stewart receives offer

To be fair, he never really amounted to much in college. He definitely doesn’t have 5-star production. But this is one that will have to go to the Miami curse jury. It’s a tricky case.
He would have been our best dlineman this year..Long term projecting id take him over bain as an edge rusher.

I pray to the olds gods and the new that my Falcons don’t draft him. Kid reminds me of a lesser productive Vic Beasley

Yeah I’m going to give this one 2-3 more years before he’s anointed a bum or a pro bowler.

But based on college and having a lot of things already at his disposal for development I’m leaning towards him being exactly who we’ve seen for 3 years. But I could also see him putting up just good enough numbers leading into that second contract that someone would overpay and get duped.

I doubt top 15 but late 1st to early 2nd wouldn't surprise me. Not too many teams are going to pass up on a big twitchy guy at that size (see Darius Robinson last year). Stats are only a chapter in the book, not the entire story of a prospect.

I wouldn't mind my Dolphins taking him in the 2nd round.

Been saying for months that he will be a 1st round pick. Will be a solid 5 tech for teams as a good run defender who probably gets maybe 6 sacks a season.
