6'0 185lbs 4-star CB out of Denton TX, goes to 5A Ryan (same school as

Dual sport athlete that plays Football & runs track.

Was clocked at a 10.98 in the 100m & a 22.08 in the 200m.

Is long armed Corner with ideal size, good frame & very good technique. He has fluid hips & excels in press man, his jam technique is superb. @3:35, 4:05 & 4:40 on his tape he displays terrific Press man coverage & is an active aggressive corner making plays on the ball.

@3:35 shows great physicality in short area coverage, initiates contact at LOS with two hand jam (I prefer one-hand jam only) but reads the WR well & has quick route recognition, maintains physicality in phase, guides the WR pushing him toward the sideline on the out route, flips his hips & finds the ball. @5:02 was another excellent display of short area coverage, he immediately jams out of his stance, doesn't fall for the outside fake, uses his footwork & physicality to cut off the inside slant, he wins the leverage battle at the LOS with his jam not allowing the WR to get inside footing, he staggers his feet & adjusts his eyes to reading the QB understanding the slant is coming, essentially runs the route for the WR, boxing him out & gets a great INT. He's very good in tight coverage with mirroring the receiver & understands how to utilize his upper body to reroute & disrupt rhythm.

@4:05 & 4:40 on his tape he shows very good downfield coverage, always starts with a really good Jam at the line, keeps in contact flipping his hips, transitions smoothly in phase with good eye discipline reading the WR & gets his head around to get the PBU.

Overall is a big physical corner with very good press man ability, kid stays in the hip pocket, has fluid hips & good ball skills. Has good steer technique to force the receiver to the outside shoulder winning the leverage battle & has very good recovery speed. He's a sound technician with excellent footwork & is a prototype Field Corner that you can leave on an island covering the CB1.

Is also a solid tackler that shows good pursuit on CB Blitzes something he would excel at in our Defense.

Plays on a really good team that went 15-1, their only loss was the state championship game against Shadow Creek.

Liberty, looks like a fantastic player if we can offer him. Got a feeling with CBU offering him a trip to Columbus that our shot is a long one at best. Man, we really, really need a 9-10 win season in a bad way for the 2020 season so we can land this type of talent.

Yeah his top 3 schools right now are Oklahoma, Oh St & Texas.

I just posted because I love his skill set & upside, but also because the 22 class will be kinda thin locally at CB, the Safety class will be as deep as its been in the last decade but at CB it's not a lot of top end guys.

I'm friends with one of the Coaches for Fast 7v7 in Houston & we text each other all the time about kids in Texas actually liking Miami a lot more than people realize, he tells me all the time if we just put forth a concerted effort we would actually land more of them than we do. It's one of the reasons Denver Harris put us in his top 8 schools, doubt we even have a shot with him lol, but if we have a successful season & recruit hard enough we may snag a few surprises in the 22 class.
