Alright don’t kill me for looking ahead, but want to get ahead of the freak out if we drop a game at Duke (weekend slate):

• Miami (6-2) at Duke (4-3)
• VT (1-6) at Clemson (7-1)
• UVA (6-2) at Wake (6-2)
• Pitt (6-2) v FSU (4-4)
• NC State (5-3) at UNC (5-3)

Notes:
• Easy to see why Duke sees this as a must win for any shot of winning ACC regular season title. ACC is a **** good league.
• VT hit with injury bug again. Not sure they recover from their start. Wager Clemson wins to move to 8-1
• UVA v Wake tossup, one moves to 7-2, the other 6-3
• NCSU v UNC is fun as s***. Another tossup.
• Miami at Duke. Tough. Will wager a Canes loss because Duke is desperate.

Weekend results (with my guesses) would leave:
• Clemson 8-1
• UVA or Wake 7-2 (tossup)
• Pitt 7-2
• Miami 6-3
• UVA or Wake 6-3
• UNC or NC State 6-3
• Duke 5-3
• UNC or NC State 5-4

Remaining Jan. schedules (post wknd slate):
• Clemson: GT, FSU, BC
• UVA: BC, Cuse
• Pitt: Wake, Miami
• Wake: Pitt, NCSU, Duke
• Miami: FSU, Pitt, VT
• UNC: Cuse
• Duke: VT, GT, Wake

Safe to say Clemson and UVA have favorable ends to January before a tougher February. Otherwise, ACC battles are abundant. Lots will be determined how we do in next few games. Go Canes!

Marquette beat Providence
Most Cane-eyes on the tuff ACC but too bad Providence didn't win tonight, as that helps our "resume". TCU and Xavier both losing was good news, as we will pass both (and probably several others) if we beat Duke Saturday. Sir B are you listening?
