2022-23 CBB Season

They’re starting Freshman Cam Corhen & their only other playable post player is Cam’ron Fletcher & he’s not really a post player, he’s a 3 being forced to play as their Big.

Their transfer Senior Jaylan Gainey was supposed to be their best Big, but is out for the season because he tore up his knee. They have a monster C Naheem McLeod who’s supposedly 7’4, but he’s also injured with an achilles sprain.
Maybe they have our old trainer on staff. Or Feld.

Another upset:

College of Charleston (South Carolina) who were 17-15 last year & have a new 1st year HC this season in Pat Kelsey, beat Chris Mooney’s Richmond Spiders.

Mooney has been at Richmond for 18 years, they were 24-13 last year.

FSU doesn’t appear to have the size and depth they’re known for under Leonard.
They're tall, athletic and deep. Great recruiting class.

Here's their problem (per Tomahawk Nation) : Gainey blew his knee and will be out all year. So will De’Ante Green. So will Bembry. Chandler Jackson broke his thumb. Fletcher can’t practice. And the jewel of the newcomers - Baba Miller - is suspended by the NCAA for a half a year because he attended his own team’s training camp.

they also lack a point guard. They can’t get into any reliable offense.
And their best player, Matthew Cleveland, doesn’t want to shoot the ball from 15 feet. its a mess right now.
Darin Green, their 6'5 G from Charlotte, hit 7-9 threes last night or it woulda been a real rout by Troy.

This will be an update/discussion thread about the College Basketball (in general) this season.

Basically, any upsets, big time matchups or just any games you guys wanna post about in general.

Figured I start it off with an early season L by our rivals up North lol.

This is worthy of a sticky.
