2021 S Kaine Williams receives offer

He can get a waiver to play right away.

And kids like him usually stick in SEC country when they transfer.

On what basis? I'm not saying you're wrong, but since this is an SEC rule (not the NCAA May 1 rule), I'm not sure what the SEC uses as a basis to grant a waiver. Maybe they are very liberal in granting waivers, I simply don't know.

I could go on but you get the point...

The sit one year with an in-conference transfer rule only applies to a specific deadline & is really just a formality, they’re not going to make any kid sit out year transferring within conference. The transfer will always be approved.

I can't speak for all of those guys, but I just addressed Jermaine Burton and Eli Ricks on another thread, both of whom transferred to Alabama before February 1.

Johnson - 12/17/2021 transfer to aTm
Calzada - 1/6/2022 transfer to Auburn

Why put a rule in place if every kid is granted a waiver? Is there sime precedence that thats what to expect? Or man just chatting? Im sure if u need a waiver it comes with conditions.

We have more pressing needs than safety. Still need a DT, WR, OT and maybe another LB. We are now over a week since the spring game without a transfer portal entry. If we are going to fill these spots, some need to pop soon. Filling the limited spaces with a S makes little sense.

We dont need to fill them in the next week, they simply need to make themselves available by May 1st. Right now there isn't much quality in the portal...

I understand that. What I was saying is that we need more of our players to transfer to open up spots.
