6'4 175lbs DB out of South Miami goes to Gulliiver Prep (was originally at South Miami HS)

Had a solid Junior year with 20+ tackles 3INT's & 5PBU's, is a tall long & rangy DB, they play him at CB/WR at Gully Prep but he projects best at Safety in college.

For a kid his size has very good movement, not stiff, shows fluidity in his hips & has good not great coverage skills. No official speed numbers, but is a long stride runner & can keep up while covering down field. Needs to get bigger & improve his physicality.

Holds offers from Kentucky, GTech, Minnesota & Temple (was offered by Banda today)

I think he can get it done at corner too although he’d be more ready to contribute at safety
Nah, you don't put a 6'4 kid at CB & don't even mention Richard Sherman because this kid doesn't have Sherms instincts, ball skills or naturally ability.

He's a good prospect, but he doesn't have the footwork or speed to play CB in college, at least not in our Defense, maybe in another scheme.

Coached Gabe for a bit in middle school. Feel like he's always been growing and is still learning how athletic he can be in his body.
He's a good Basketball player too.

Once he adds weight to his frame & gets stronger he could be a freak Defender at Safety or OLB.

He's a good Basketball player too.

Our winter hoops team never practiced and mopped the floor with all of the parks, man. He was on the winter team for like one year.

We'd go win a league title in football, go play in the Orange Bowl Classic play-in against some Palm Beach teams, then play in the Classic against a top Broward team then do all-star circuit and some of the kids would go up to Orlando...Christmas time...would come back and start up hoops and just mop the floor with everyone. ya, b. He can ball, too.

Why are we still taking early commits?

Has the staff not learned their lesson?
