Read back through page 1, another poster more familiar with Connecticut HS Football provided more insight.

He's supposed to be a 2019 kid, but reclassified, so he's basically a year older, but that doesn't take away from his stellar season.

He's still a young kid & was still playing against Juniors & Seniors, obviously it was weak comp, but still pretty **** good for a QB his age.

I mistakenly put TF, but meant HS Freshman, it's obvious what I saying in context lol.

And David Njoku played against small group 1 competition and NJ and was a first round pick.

This kid concerns me. A real prospect would have said he's 'blessed' to receive an offer, not 'honored.' He might be better suited to go to Stanford.

I'd be willing to overlook it if he promises to always point to the sky when he scores.

You can't really compare the two football is way bigger in New Jersey. Connecticut is known for lacrosse than it is football by a mile. The town this kid is from is about as far from a football power as it gets.
