battle and Sherwood were lay ups. We slow played them. It made no sense

HAD NO SHOT with Battle. BATTLE was begging for an OSU offer got it and committed, then flipped to Bama later on. If he verballed to us it would have been as a spaceholder

We had no shot w alot of these kids we kids we consider misses. That's the thing. They were never coming here.

Mike Rumph coached Schwartz since he was 10 as well. He was ont hat same optomist team with Tyson Campbell. I was always mad we didnt push all the way for him...the narrative was that he was a TRACK GUY.....Track guys dont typically play football from that age and do so at a high level in south florida like Schwartz did
