Woah you need to stop. The Big 12 has some of the best O-lines in all CFB. Oklahoma, Texas, ISU, Oklahoma State, and even Kansas State all have multiple draft picks on them.

And someone had to play defensive line for WVU

You need to stop sir. You know not which you speak. As i stated above not saying Mcdougal can’t play. Just saying his legend on this board is spinning out of control. WVU had NOTHING on the d-line that year

It doesn’t matter. He still became a freshman all-American that had 23 tackles with 4 for loss and 2 sacks. That would’ve been second best on our team last year.

Nope...not many frosh DT played his snaps. Which were out of nevessity

He would have redshirted 1st year and in the top 4 or 5 DT for sure at UM this year. That's what I can give him.

That’s the point i’m trying to make...he made frosh All American because yes he’a decent but mainly because he beat out other walk on quality players and underclassmen to start at WVU. Pretry simple

Gulliver High School DT Westley Neal lists 15 offers including the likes of Michigan, Florida State, Virginia, Louisville and Kentucky.

An offer he covets?

The hometown Miami Hurricanes.

And Neal hopes to generate enough buzz at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Miami on Sunday to land that UM offer.

“It’ll be a lot of competition there,” Neal said. “When I’m there I want to go undefeated in one on ones. I’m a 4-star now and want to get to the Five-Star Challenge. I don’t think it’ll be that hard to do if I keep working and put my mind to it.”

He thinks UM might be shying away because of his height (he’s alternately listed at 5-11 and 6-0, weighing in at 295 pounds).

“I think it is a height issue but I have to show it doesn’t matter,” Neal said.

What would it mean if Neal does land a Cane offer down the road?

“Miami, that’s my dream school,” Neal said. “I grew up a fan.”

Those guys are exceptions just like 5'10 guys are exceptions. Not many 6'6 DTs in the league and even fewer who are studs.
 
Between Bryant, Neal, and Pinder we should let one of them be in this class. I'd be willing to the bet the guy who is 1 or 2 inches shorter than the 4/5 star but has that dog in him, will be the better player.
